During the first lockdown we launched at “Smoked Chicken Delivery” in and around Frome and it was a great success!
We smoked the chickens in our trusty smoker for five hours until they were juicy and falling apart, gently rested them and then portioned them down.
Each week we offered a whole chicken and three sides for £20. Side dishes included mejadrah, grilled vegetables, Turkish carrots in yoghurt and much more.
We teamed up with our friends at Three Swans so customers could either choose home delivery or collect from the pub and purchase a few takeaway drinks.
We were blown away by the local support with some people ordering every week.
There is something special about a perfectly smoked chicken. Maybe we should start smoked chicken Sundays?
